  APOXI is an object oriented application framework for development of Man Machine Interface (MMI) and applications for mobile terminals. APOXI is designed to meet the special requirements of mobile, embedded devices and exposes APIs that are specific to mobile phones.

APOXI provides the means for rapid MMI and application development. MMI and applications are built on top of APOXI.

APOXI is optimized for the needs of mobile phone MMIs and application development.

The main components of APOXI are Graphical User Interface (GUI) services, ADC and ASC, and application control mechanism.

APOXI also includes the following modules:

Graphical Device Interface (GDI), including all necessary functionality for displaying objects such as text, lines, bitmaps, animations on the display. APOXI provides window functionality for easy implementation of complex MMIs with increased usability.

APOXI Stack Control (ASC) allows easy access to any protocol stack. ASC is available for all Comneon protocol software products.

APOXI Data Control (ADC) for accessing storage devices (NVRAM, SIM, Flash, etc.).

APOXI Socket Interface enabling applications to access TCP, PPP and UDP with a centralized configuration mechanism.

APOXI is Unicode enabled, thus supporting a huge variety of languages.

APOXI SDK provides an MMI Simulator, a Resource Compiler and a Language Database.

APOXI MMI Template is a reference implementation rich in features that can be modified by customers or immediately used unmodified for any mobile phone.

APOXI Multimedia Codecs, e.g. GIF, WBMP, JPG, PNG, MIDI, iMelody, etc.

Java and Camera Support.
